 DETROIT MICHIGAN!

 

The Manual Therapy Institute, with Concentra Urgent Care, will begin a Manual Therapy class in Detroit, Michigan - April of 2011.

 

The Manual Therapy Institute is an APTA Credentialed Postprofessional Clinical Fellowship Program in Manual Therapy. Curriculum guidelines are set up according to the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy’s Standards for Residency training.

 

Emphasis will be put on advanced evaluation and treatment skills. Techniques include, but are not limited to, high velocity thrust techniques, MET’s, joint and soft tissue mobilizations and the evaluation and treatment of Adverse Neural Tissue Tension. 

 

 

Over a 2.5-year period, 17 classes are scheduled. All courses are on weekends, every 6-8 weeks. Graduates from the program will be well prepared to sit for their OCS exam.
