Great Plains Health Alliance is an organization of leased, managed and affiliated hospitals in Kansas and Nebraska.  Formed in 1950, GPHA is one of the oldest --and one of the largest-- not-for-profit management systems in the nation developed specifically to meet the special needs and challenges of the community health care system.

What began as strictly administrative assistance has evolved into a comprehensive organization offering a variety of services, personnel, expertise and resource-sharing opportunities.

GPHA is an organization deeply committed to ensuring the future of health care in rural areas by strengthening community health care delivery systems.

The local community, working in partnership with GPHA, is best equipped to determine its own health care needs and find ways to meet those needs.
