Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is now hiring pool/weekend Physical Therapists. Hours range from Mon. - Fri .7:30am to 6pm. Positions are working predominately with our outpatient population and on-site clinic visits. This is an excellent opportunity to work with expert pediatric staff in a fast paced environment. • Current Physical Therapy license with the State of Wisconsin.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Prefer a minimum of 9 months clinical experience in the
pediatric field of Physical Therapy. Will accept new
graduates.
• Knowledge of the principles of neonatal, pediatric and
adolescent growth and development and child/family responses
to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills to
effectively communicate with patient, family and medical
staff in a team environment.
• The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers
in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the
organization and its services.
• Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, over 80% of the
assigned work period and lift and position patients weighing
up to 75 pounds. Must be able to push and pull splinting
cart, patients in wheelchairs.
