What would mean a lot more to me if I was hiring would be your clinical experience & decision making, interview, and references. I would weigh those more heavily than which school or type of school you graduated from.

Hi - I have been accepted to a PTA program in Duluth, MN and am scheduled to start Fall of 2013. However, since being accepted, we have moved over to Wisconsin about 1.5 hours away from the program. In the interim, I have also been accepted to start prereqs with an online program in New Mexico. They are an accredited program and have graduated several classes. My question to PT's is - How much would you accept an online PTA degree? It is a hybrid program requiring at least 1-2 weeks/semester of full time, hands-on, at campus participation as well as two 40 hour externships. If I get accepted at this program, I can stay home and work. We also have the option of possibly moving half way between our current location and Duluth but that still requires 2 hours of commuting to school 5 days a week. I want to get a good education but also want to maintain my relationship and be able to work during school. Any input is HUGELY appreciated! thanks!
