Our user asked: "I was just wondering the different types of work setting for PT's. If certain places work with certain types of peopls (elderly, disables) and where are these work places located (privat clinic, or hospital)"

Ask a PT Response: "Physical therapists practice in hospitals, clinics, and private offices that have specially equipped facilities, or they treat patients in hospital rooms, homes, or schools. Patient population varies with each setting. Additional training may be required to practice in these settings as well. Please visit our PT Message board under student discussion to learn more. Thank you for using CyberPT "Your online physical therapy resource"."
