Our user asked: "My wife would like to become a physical therapist in the Missouri aria. MSU is the only school avalible to us and only teach a masters corse no BA. I know she needs a masters to practice in Missouri but she needs a BA to start the masters. The BA can be in any physical science. My question is what would be her best course of action? Thank you for your time, I know it is not the normal questions you get but any thoughts would be helpful."

Ask a PT Response: "The degree earned for physical therapy is now an entry level Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I don't beleive MSU still offers a Master's degree: http://www.missouristate.edu/physicaltherapy/
My suggestion to you would be for her to contact the shcool and inquire about requirements in order to apply. Each school may have different criteria for admission, so it is best to contact each individual school she may be interested in attending to learn more about requirements. Also, yes, you are correct that she will need a bachelor's degree in order to apply."
