Our user asked: "I am having alot of trouble with walking The bottom of my calf towards the heal is hurting so much I can hardly walk. I have noticed I am putting all the weight on the good leg(right)and have been doing this for 4 months.I know I need more theraphy what exercise can I do to help this out"
Ask a PT Response: "You may be correct when you stated you may need more therapy. Pain at the heel towards the calf can be associated with a number of conditions with achilles tendonitis coming first to my mind (http://www.cyberpt.com/cptcondtrtachillestendonitis.asp). It would be probably be a good idea to go see a PT now since you have been dealing with this for 4+ months now so that it doesn't get worse or you develop an injury to your right leg from the additional stress. The PT would be able to determine what may be contributing to the pain at your left heel (ie. gait abnormalities, range of motion deficits, strength deficits, etc.) and also be able to address any other issues.
