Our user asked: "How do you correct anterior pelvic tilt when you have dominant TFLs and hip flexor stretches are discouraged because they aggravate an anterior femoral glide condition?"
Ask a PT Response: "Can the patient tolerate any stretching at all ie. gentle stretching? Otherwise could try more aggressive stretching of the back, manual inhibition of the hip flexors, biofeedback to help train patient to relax or fire involved muscles, followed with strengthening of the abs and buttock muscles. I hope this helps."
