Our user asked: "Hello, I am a 23 year old, and have had a very mild case of CP since I was born. My only issue has really been muscle tightness in my legs (mainly in the Leg). I was wondering if the lokomat would be a good option to help with correcting my gait."
Ask a PT Response: "You mention your chief complaint is of tightness mainly in the legs. Are you performing a stretching program to address this issue. As far as you question in regards to utilizing the locomat to assist with gait training, it is difficult for me to answer without examining not only your gait but examining various other factors as well. My suggestion to you would be to see a PT for an evaulation to determine if the Locomat gait orthosis would benefit you."
