   Our user asked: "I was in an accident in 2010, I had a herniated disc, they have done shots, lamanectomy in 2011 and now a Dorsal Spinal Stimulator Implant which helps with the nerve down my right leg, but there is considerable weakness in my right leg and PT seems to make it worse, now I walk with a cane..Is there anything I can do to get the mobility back in my leg it seems to lock up and cramp after a short time of use"

Ask a PT Response: "It sounds like you are doing everything you can. Have you also tried aquatic therapy or massage therapy? The aquatic therapy could help with the strengthening and the massage therapy may help with the tightness and cramping."
