bccc 1 Posts ABPT 11 Posts The best thing to do is to take a break from running. Stretching the calf muscles and strengthening the ankle/leg muscles can also help prevent the injury from returning. Anti-inflammatories might be helpful as well if this is something that is allowed by your physician. Should you continue to experience pain after a period of rest then consult with your MD to rule out a stress fracture. This would be the worst case scenario. Participation in physical therapy would definitely help speed up your recovery as well. |
