Our user asked: "I suffered from rotator cuff tendenitis 10 years ago and still do special rotator cuff exercises including regular pushups. Will decline push ups strengthen or aggravate the rotator cuff"
 
Ask a PT Response: "I would not recommend a decline push up for my patients who have rotator cuff problems as this exercise does apply a significant amount of stress on the shoulder and rotator cuff and could cause an exacerbation of the condition."
