Our user asked: "Hi, i've been dealing with an imbalance for years now and am beginning to get extremely depressed that i don't know what to do about it. I've researched heavily for years trying to figure out what i can do. The right side of my body has much tighter: pec minor, psoas, hip flexor, and a really tight TFL, externally rotating my hip. Also my transverse abdominis on my right side is virtually non existent. the left side controls most movements, kind of causing a twist. Because of this it makes it very hard to strengthen the right side because all the other tight muscles and left TA doing the work for it. PLEASE any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Let me know if you have any more questions about my symptoms."

Ask a PT Response: "Have you worked with a PT in the past? It sounds like you might need to have a PT evaluate you to see if there might be other issues as well such as hypomobile joints, neuromuscular control issues, etc. Interventions such as joint mobilizations, neuromuscular reeducation, electrical stimulation, biofeedback, etc. could be beneficial to you."
