Our user asked: "I'm moving to Temecula, CA and looking to get into physical therapy.
Currently,  I work in the computer industry, but looking to switch careers. I'm a registered CNA in the state of CA and was looking to see what schools might accept someone in my situation. I'm happy to go through the PTA program first. Could you recommend what steps I need to take and what schools, including JC's in the area, that have the programs available."

Our user asked: "Temecula is a great city. Great wine country! In regards to your question, the easiest route would be to obtain your associates degree as a PTA. Most PT schools have converted to doctorate programs and will require a significant amount of additional course work given your current educational level. You can find a PTA school by visiting: http://www.cyberpt.com/ptforum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35 - http://www.cyberpt.com/ptforum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35

I would recommend you contact each school to determine what requirements will need to be fulfilled. Good luck with school and thanks for using CyberPT."
