Our user asked: "What treatments would be used for a sports hernia and what type of exercises would be best?"

Ask a PT Response: "With a sports hernia, you should first consult with your MD to determine the extent of the injury and to see if physical therapy would be appropriate. Generally with a sports hernia, core and abdominal training are performed based on the patients tolerance along with other exercises and treatment options based on the limitations which are discovered during the initial examination."
