Our user asked: "I have a misaligned pelvis, one side is higher than the other. How would an physical therapist go about to adjusting it?"

Ask a PT Response: "Could be a number of things going on which may be contributing to your misalignment ie, tightness, weakness, instability, posture, etc. The therapist will conduct and evaluation and develop a plan of care based on the findings. As far as actual adjustments goes, the therapist can perform various manual techniques such as muscle energy technique, joint mobilization, strain/counterstrain, etc. The therapist will be able to determine which manual techniques would be most appropriate for the patient."
