Our user asked: "I have my BA in Computer Science. Can I now pursue a Master's or Doctorate's in PT - or do I first need to get a Bachelor's in PT? I'm considering a career change from IT to PT."

Ask a PT Response: "In order to earn a physical therapy degree you will now have to obtain a doctorate in physical therapy. There are many pre-requisite courses which are required in order to meet requirements for application to a DPT school. Each school may have different pre-requisites so it may be a good idea to contact the school you are interested in applying to so you can learn more about the requirements. Given your current educational background you mentioned, I anticipate you will have to take quite a few pre-requisite courses."
