Our user asked: "I was wondering what the average salary start off pay for a PTA is. Also i wanted to know if getting my associates as a PTA and working to get some experience before pursuing the bachelors would be a good idea? Any other information that could be useful? Thanks for your time. "

Ask a PT Response: "Check out http://www.salary.com - www.salary.com , this site should be able to give you a general idea about the salary for a PTA in your desired location ($35,000-$53,000 range). As far as getting your associates and then pursuing your bachelors??? I am a little confused. If you would like to pursue a degree in physical therapy it now requires a doctorate degree which requires a bachelors degree so that a  doctorate degree can be pursued. I hope this helps."
