Our user asked: "i am 5.5 and wondering how tall should my crutches they seem to be tall at 5.5 so there set at 5.4 5.3 is to short what would recomended"

Ask a PT Response: "When I adjust crutches for my patients I usually would have them stand straight with arm relaxed and crutches under their armpit.  A proper fit should allow for 2-3 fingers to fit under the armpit with the crutch under the armpit. As far as adjusting the hand grip on the crutch, the hand grip should be at approximately wrist level with the arm hanging. As far as your situation, I would see which height accommodates these guidelines the best."
