Our user asked: "Hi! I've had several surgeries to repair broken bones in my left forearm and just recently got all of the hardware removed. What are some good exercises that might increase the rate of bone growth?"

Ask a PT Response: "You mentioned you have had several surgeries to repair broken bones in your forearm. Stimulating bone growth is dependent on a variety of variables ie. proper exercise selection, variation of exericses, loading specific areas, and progression of load. Given your history, it would be more efficient and safe to have a PT evaluate and work with you so that you can obtain an exericse program specific for your needs. Best of luck to you."
