Our user asked: "I know walking in water is good for any kind of edema, but would it be better for me to walk in a cool pool or a warm pool? I have foot ankle leg edema from venous insufficiency. Thank you"

Ask a PT Response: "Heat is a vasodilator and cold is a vasoconstrictor, therefore, cold water may be more advantageous in your case."
