Our user asked: "hello, i would like to know, if i do pta, can i become a pa, or i would have to start all over again? Thank u."

Ask a PT Repsonse: "You will more than likely have to start over again if you want to work towards getting your PA degree. A PTA degree is only an associates degree which is 2 years and will lack the curriculum required to apply for a PA program."

Most of the courses in physician assistant needs a bachelor's degree and even some have experience as registered nurses, military medics, physical or respiratory therapists or EMTs also. But for being a physician assistant the specific course has to be undertaken. Such programs typically take two years to complete and some programs also require clinical coursework.
