Our user asked: "Do weak adductor muscles cause the knee to invert? My knee gives away sometimes medially during agility type exerciese. Which would need to be stretch and strengthened? Adductor or Abductor."

Ask a PT Response: "Since I am not able to examine you and observe you perform the activity, my guess would be you have weaker abductors as they are not allowing you the ability to decelerate when you are performing the agility drills, thus resulting in your knee going in. Stretching the adductors may help as well."
