Our user asked: "My doctor believes a pinced nerve in my back is causing the pain up and down my right leg. Two months with a chiropractor has not helped. Question: are there some exercises I can do to help ease the pain? Thank you."

Ask a PT Response: "Did you get a MRI done of your lumbar spine? Depending on what is contributing to the impingement of the nerve (ie, disc, facet, etc) in your spine, exercises may vary. If you are able to, a physical therapist would be able to evaluate you and determine what is contributing to your condition and establish a plan of care tailored to the specific findings."
