I am a PTA student in my last clinical affil in an acute care setting at a hospital. I am brainstorming on potential topics for an inservice presentation, I would like to choose a topic that is interesting, would have enough research available & benefit the facility. Medical diagnoses I've been exposed to in my first week are CHF, PE, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, UTI etc. and seen TKRs/THRs. I was thinking of presenting on lines/tubes/monitoring devices (but this is a little cut and dry) or patient positioning when treating a specific diagnosis...Any thoughts would be appreciated.
