Our user aksed: "I want to become a physical therapist but I am somewhat lost of what majors to take, since I can't go right into a physical therapy program. In your opinion, what is the best route to go before I get get a PT degree? I had a few ideas including preohysical therapy, biology, exercise science, and a few others but I am still not 100% sure."

Ask a PT response: "PrePT, biology, kinesiology/exercise science, ATC are all all good majors which provide a foundation for applying to PT schools. The best thing for you would be to determine which PT schools you would like to try to get into and see what the prerequisite courses are for each PT program and make sure they are offered at the undergrad school you are attending. Best of luck to you."
