Hello, I've had lower back pains since I was about 15 years old and I'm now 29; I was recommended to a back therapist last year in which I did a multitude of various exercises. What I found interesting was strengthening the stomach muscles improved back support thus making my back pains diminish. I still have minor issues so I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with other exercises to strengthen the back without hurting it?

Thanks!

Pilates and physioball exercises are excellent for strengthening your core (abdominals & back). If you have a gym membership you can look into participating in these classes or can use other resources such as books, the internet, your therapist or a personal trainer.
